RAL Plastics P1 colours
RAL Plastics is the classic colour standard adapted for plastic materials.
Physically they're made with polypropylene plates to guarantee that plastic shades are similar to RAL paint colour shades.
They're also multifunctional, offering three sample thicknesses (3mm, 2mm and 1mm) and three different surfaces (high gloss polished, VDI 24, VDI 42).
RAL Plastics P1 accomodates 100 different RAL Classic colours.
The colours are divided into nine different hues, and each colour has a number attached to it.
The RAL Plastics P1 colour codes end up with "-P" to indicate that they're a part of RAL Plastics.
For example, RAL 3002-P is a colour within the red hues group. Being in the 3000s means they're grouped amongst the red hues and the "-P" indicates they're a part of RAL Plastics.
